Shoreline exists to help people drop everything and follow Jesus.
We respond to Jesus through repentance and faith, receive His forgiveness, and are rooted in His Word, led by His Spirit, formed in community, and sent to make disciples, care for the vulnerable, and reach the nations.
The Vision
To be a church that calls people to drop everything and follow Jesus, live sensitive to the Holy Spirit, be deeply rooted in the Word of God, make disciples, care for those in need, and carry the Gospel across cultures, communities, and nations.
Shoreline is a legacy church with a rich history and generations of faithful service. As we step into a new chapter, we are rebuilding with the future in mind—creating a place where people can encounter Jesus, know the Scriptures deeply, grow as disciples, and be led by the Holy Spirit into God’s purposes.
We believe the Bible is the authoritative and trustworthy Word of God and the foundation for what we believe, how we live, and how we follow Jesus. We want to cultivate a church where people are not simply familiar with the Bible, but are deeply formed by it through careful study, sound theology, and a life of obedience.
Following Jesus also means loving our neighbors in tangible ways. We want to be a church that cares for the poor, welcomes the foreigner, protects and serves the vulnerable, and comes alongside widows, orphans, families, and those who are hurting or in need. We believe the Gospel calls us not only to proclaim the love of Jesus, but to demonstrate it through mercy, generosity, hospitality, and service.
We believe the Gospel breaks down every wall that divides us. Across cultures, languages, backgrounds, and denominations, we are one in Christ and united by His Spirit. Our heart is for the nations, and we want Shoreline to be a place where people from every nation can belong, grow, and be sent.
We want to be a church that holds the Word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit together—grounded in Scripture, attentive to His presence, compassionate toward those in need, and willing to follow wherever Jesus leads.
